Spring Volume Seduction Demonstration
Posted on April 24, 2013
We decided to hold a spring event this year to have some fun with models and to show the breadth and quality of work available from the hair artists at TwoDo Salon. We also wanted to introduce and demonstrate the new Oribe products. Come a check out this new ultra luxury, innovative brand that inspires creativity among stylists. For volume and styling, we'll show you how they they work like magic.
Brege’s blonde hair was in need of a color correction because she had old henna coloring and dark roots. First we blended her color using a base that was a combination of two shades of blonde. Then we applied highlights to large sections of hair using foils and a balayage method. Strawberry blonde highlights were then interspersed.
To create big volume, Michelle prepped it before blow drying with Oribe’s Volumista Spray at the roots and worked Oribe’s Creme for Style through her hair for light shaping. She then placed three large rollers along the crown and blow dried the hair with a round brush, lifting, smoothing and shaping the hair. For extra volume she back combed individual sections of hair at the top and sides of the head.
Lilia wanted a natural all over sandy
blond color with highlights that were blended so there wasn’t a lot of contrast
at the roots. Megan gave her a blended ombre effect, creating a mix of
color from the crown to the ends from natural light brown to sandy blonde on
the ends. Styling for volume, Kelsey first applied Oribe’s Supershine
Light Moisturizing Cream and then blew it dry with a paddle brush. She
used a curling iron on 2 inch sections of hair to create an all over wavy look.
After letting the waves sit to set, she finger combed the waves,
finishing with Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray to break up the curls
and give them texture and body.
